Humane Society of Ventura County Volunteer Opportunities
Ojai Shelter Group orientations are held 4 times a month. You will still need to call ahead to schedule your orientation date.* If you are under the age of 18 you must have your application completed with your parent or guardians signature of consent before the orientation. You will not be able to complete your orientation unless this is done. *Call Suzanne at 805-646-6505 ext. 110 for more information and to schedule your orientation. Plan a fundraiser in your neighborhood! Raise funds for our shelter animals. Have a bake sale or a lemonade stand. Donate blankets, towels or bedding. Thank you, your generosity is greatly appreciated! Wish List for 2008: 1. Lamb/Chicken with rice dog food 2. Kitten/Cat food (no dye please) 3. Shavings for horse bedding 4. KMR (kitten replacement formula) 5. Heavy duty liquid laundry detergent 6. Bleach 7. Large heavy duty garbage bags 8. Copy paper 9. Office supplies 10. Plastic gloves We also need your help/talents with: 1. Landscaping 2. Painting (inside and out) 3. A handyman 1x a week w/ lic. & ins. 4. Cement around puppy pens 5. New tires for our pickup and rescue trailor. 6. Tree trimmer 7. New industrial washing machine 8. New industrial dryer 9. Occasional donated legal advice We appreciate all

The Humane Society of Ventura County is a private,
non-profit organization. We receive no monetary support from
the government or national animal welfare organizations such
as the Humane Society of The United States. We are funded entirely
by private donations. Financial support is appreciated and may be sent to
P.O. Box 297, Ojai, CA 93024. The Humane Society of Ventura County, at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai,
is open for adoptions Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information about the Shelter and the many services
